Unfortunately, the sun shines on the just and the unjust alike. Sorry, but karma's dead - if it ever existed.

We're not making fun of him, I say good for him if he can get some more cash on his way out.

@Deborah: I dunno, maybe stories about how all the "P" keys have been removed from the computers in the MSNBC newsroom?

Re: The descent continues

I appreciate JTP because he serves to remind us, in the coming absence of George W Bush, that a significant portion of the United States is retarded.

Re: The descent continues

Three forces--Palin, Pumas, and Joe the Plumber--that were supposed to disappear November 5th have bizarrely resurfaced this past week. It's like all three didn't get the memo that their moment was really done November 5th, not just set aside for the holiday season. Or some dada-esque performance piece about Things Starting With P That Should Have Gone Away Two Months Ago, But Are Back Now For No Discernable Reason.

Are there other stories from the end of the election that involve the letter P, whose zombified re-entrance we should vigilantly anticipate? What's wrong, the press is tired of spell-checking Blagojevich even when he provides them with Tennison quotes?

Re: The descent continues

I applaud him for providing one of the more effective refutations of white supremacy in recent years.

Re: The descent continues

Check him out for getting his. Don't hate folks when he's just trying to make some money to feed his daughters..

Which one of us wouldn't be milking the fat cow for all she was worth until our 15 min. is up?

The MSN on the other hand for pushing Joe down our throats with inpunity should be beaten. How's Blago and Joe even a story with the new unemployment numbers, Gaza and Iraq still front and center? They hitch their wagon to a narative and ride the monotone until we fall asleep.

Hey BS, good luck on the hunt.

Re: The descent continues

I prefered the American of previous generations when idiot, fourth rate celebrities were content with just appearing on the Hollywood Squares.

Re: The descent continues

So he's a nonplumber-turned-war-noncorrespondent, not covering conflict, telling nothing to the enemy, and protecting his home with his words?

I'm no longer thinking he's looking for a book deal, I think he wants a comics line and an action figure. I can't imagine what it would be doing--hitting someone back?

Re: The descent continues

He was yammering about Israelis having to take short showers or something. I guess being a plumber (albiet an unlicensed one), he knows something about showers.

Oh well, maybe when he gets back he can learn enough about plumbing to get his license and start a business that BHO will tax into the oblivion that exists in his fervid little imagination.

Re: The descent continues

As a war correspondent

I believe the word you are looking for is actually "target". This is, after all, the doofus who said he would be well protected because he is a Christian.

Re: The descent continues

I'm busting my ass looking for writing and editing jobs, and this shortbussy muthafucka just falls into a job as a war correspondent?

Re: The descent continues

You know, now that I think about it, this does have kind of a Dada symmetry to it. A man called Joe the Plumber, whose name is not Joe and who is not a licensed plumber, becomes famous for asking a question about a situation that doesn't actually pertain to him. He then becomes a "war correspondent" that decries the actions of war correspondents when the report on war.

Ahhhhhh.
