Ah, my favorite quote: Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. Although Wikipedia thinks that we have taken some poetic license with respect to what Twain originally said/wrote.

The kind that got me laid off along with 20 million other people, took my house at the gun barrel of the deputy sheriff, made me homeless and harasses me for trying to find warmth on a grate, and hungry when some kind stranger doesn't by my breakfast.

Thanks for the meal, but Barack Obama's America leaves a whole lot to be desired buddy.

What family members didn't know was that Goncalves had spent the night at a truck stop talking with friends over drinks of a sugarcane liquor known as cachaca, his niece Rosa Sampaio told the O Globo newspaper. He did not get word about his own funeral until it was already happening Monday morning.
