Basically him saying something like "Hey, look at the coverage we had on Friday." and then a series of quick edits of Iran coverage labeled Friday. Fair enough, I suppose.

One of his other arguments though was something like "We've only just made the editorial decision to show you these shocking scenes of violence." Then they show the footage and it's not even close to what's popping up on Andrew's blog. That is, CNN showed video of the protests but did not show the injury images that Andrew has had.

I don't want to throw a blanket accusation at all the people who work at CNN but man, CNN sure looked kinda incompetent right then.

Re: Open Thread At Noon

best idea of the day...

Re: Open Thread At Noon

De La Soul? Nah ...

Where's Burress going, folks? I say the Jets, because it'll give the franchise and the player a chance to stick it to Big Blue.

Col. Please be persistent in trying to reload."

Is that also affecting the Coates blog? So far I can still get pages to load here, but it's bad over there.

Re: Open Thread At Noon

My skepticism? While, I have some doubt about whether or not a massive fraud has taken place, I tend to view that as pretty likely. I guess I am more skeptical about whether or not this will amount to any lasting change. I am hopeful.

Re: Open Thread At Noon

i don't particularly understand you're scepticism...however...one thing is true, these events have brought about the best and the worst in the iranian society...
