Arrr!

...wait a minute, now that I think about it...

Olbermann is an ass, but that last minute or so was poetry in motion.

Re: I missed this...

just tore dat ass up. lit that fool up.

look if you're going to come for moyers you need to bring it hard. moyers is a serious guy and a serious journalist who takes on serious issues. check out his interview with andrew bacevich sr. on youtube--it's just fascinating.

and ll cool j shout out was well playe by olbermann.

Re: I missed this...

The University of North Texas journalism department is proud.

Re: I missed this...

That was great

Re: I missed this...

Porter should be eligible for some sort of worker's comp benefits after that beatdown. Wow. Moyers was just Pacquiaoesque with that one.

Like DMX said, "ni99as pumped you up, to watch you get beat."

Re: I missed this...

Don't mess with NPR. They're gangsta. This O'Reilly gimmick is one of Fox's funnier ideas, although sending a guy in after Moyers was a dumb idea from the getgo.

Re: I missed this...

That was cool on so many levels. First of which was the nicely played LL shout out. Well done! But the rimshot had to be Moyers offering some job recs to the deer in headlights Porter.

Re: I missed this...

Moyers is the best lefty tv journalist on the air, and the msnbc crew could pick up some things from him. He asks questions that are open ended rather than requiring answers that seem pre cooked into the questions themselves, never reduces his perspectives to party lines, and would rather learn something than show off what he already knows. No gimmicks, no soundbies, no histrionics, no frills, just important issues and interesting conversations.

Re: I missed this...

I forgot how calm and reasonable Moyers was throughout the interaction. That's what made it more powerful - the guy comes off as a bigger jerk than he would have otherwise because Moyers never lost his temper or explicitly insulted him.

Re: I missed this...

"It was at that point, Porter regretted parking so far away from the conference center."

Hilarious.

Re: I missed this...

The rule will never change, bullies HATE to get bullied. That guy looked like he wanted to cry by the time he left. Best Bill Moyers line of the cli in my opinion

If you want a job I might have some recommendations.

Re: I missed this...

How about Olbermann with the LL shout out!
