Glaivester the NBPP was making sure the franchise was ensured from people like you who think Afro- Americans are inferior and shouldn't vote. As far as I am concerned the only way to deal with the Steve Sailers, Ann Coulters and Racialist people like you is through brute violence and intimidation. White People like YOU can't be reasoned with through intelligence and dialouge so if a few NBPP memebers made sure that Afro- Americans voted without being harassed by whites like you I say SO WHAT !!!

P.S. and by the way, they did not violate anyone's right to vote like the GOP has been doing by using off-duty cops, Klansmen, and conservative operatives for years.

If they were intimidating people into not voting or into voting for Obama, that was wrong.

If they were defending people from being intimidate, that was right.

I'll wait to figure out this story (or other individual stories) until I figure out the bigger picture stories of the election.

I don't hink the NBPP did anything wrong except make sure that African- Americans can vote without conservatives racially indimitdating them.In florida, THE GOP has sent police officers to Black polling places to intimidate Black voters since the 80's to supress Afro- Americans from voting and in 2000 it was a big reason that Bush won Florida. And if you watched shows like Democracy Now and Reporters like Greg Palast and other progressives have written conservative operatives in many states have done the exact same thing without the white media reporting it.

After it happened in 2000 and 2004 that I said if conservatives want to play Mugabe-like politics,then they be able to take same the punishment they place on African- Americans. So Fucking what,Faux News is complaining about some Brothas in Black Panther gear holding a stick and from what I read they haven't bothered any voters except White Conservatives who hate any expression of Black male self- defense.I say the only thing a Bully understands is when you hit him back in the mouth.

If anyone black ,white,or whatever on this blog does not like what I said or think it's racist for the NBPP to be at these places where were you when John Fund (WSJ) and other conservatives was advocating that Black Voters are corrupt and have used off-duty Republican police officers and other operatives to spread lies and intimidate elderly Black People and isn't that illgeal what the GOP is doing ?

It's the first time NBPP party did anything that was decent instead of running their mouths and talking smack at whitey for the last decade. and as far as I am concerned it's about time. I have no sympathy for Leventhal or any Conservative who is getting back what they have dishing out to A.A. voters and those who don't like it and think it has set back race realtions, I say Two ducks in a bucket FUCK IT !!!!

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I attended the Obama rally in VA. 120,000 people - insane! It was amazing, folks from all walks of life and all backgrounds.

On the way back to our house in McLean, VA, we saw a man lurking in the parking lot at 12:15am. Weird but whatever. We stopped at a diner to get some food and forgot about it.

On our way out after eating, we see the guy kicking and tearing down Obama signs on the street. He's going crazy! He's screaming, tearing the stuff, balling it up, throwing it, and planting dozens of McCain/Palin signs. My boyfriend drives up to him, rolls down the window and says "um... what are you doing, you can't do that?!" The man lunges at our car screaming "I'll get you people!" as we drive off. Talk about a nutter!

These guys look like they're affiliated with the "New Black Panther Party" (which is actually a radical Nation of Islam splinter that has nothing to do with the original Black Panther Party) based upon their attire.

Kinda surprising because the NBPP, however repugnant I find their sexist, quasi-racist views, normally has military-like squad-based organization as opposed to a couple of dudes hanging around.
