Everything's just a bit difficult to read right now, which is disappointing because I enjoy your stuff.

Re: Housekeeping!

hey Marc--love the new site.

what would be cool?

a Kindle version.

Re: Housekeeping!

Are spelling and grammar curmudgeons "orneries"? I hope not.

I also second fort-da's request that you take care not to act as a feeder site for Drudge or Politico. The business model for these sites largely involves catering to the small but loyal group of right wingers whose candidates were largely thrashed in the last election.

If you're going to butter their bread, at least distribute it to other sites.

Re: Housekeeping!

Marc - I think the new site looks great, and the layout is top-notch. One change I haven't been too keen about is that you've apparently gone to partial RSS feeds. Any possibility of switching back to full feeds?

Otherwise, kudos. You do some of the best political reporting out there, and now have a site to match.

Re: Housekeeping!

Marc -- Congrats on the new website! And, thanks for enabling the comments. You always provide smart analysis and I'm looking forward to visiting here often.

Might I offer one quick suggestion?

Can you please include links (for the Zeitgeist column, Marc's Clicks, etc.) that regularly moves attention to stories/opinions posted from sites NOT named The Politico or The Drudge Report? Though, in all fairness, I can't really tell the difference between the two these days...

At any rate, I would really like to see Think Progress, TMP, Daily Kos, 538, Washington Note, and other sites NOT devoted to faithful stenography of GOP talking-points, vendettas, etc., on this new site. Not only would it help fulfill the new President's spirit of bipartisanship -- but it will also provide a nice dose of reality against the righteous wing-nuttery bunch.

Ben Smith is good. But Matt VandeHarris Drudge can sometimes be just too much. (Example: the Cheney "interview" today.)
