The number of contested ballots in the recount is much smaller than the number of initially contested ballots that were then withdrawn.  The latter group has not yet been (re)counted.  Now, since the Franken campaign is still trying to get incorrectly rejected absentee ballots included, and the Coleman campaign has been trying to stop that, it would seem to me both campaigns expect Coleman to be ahead after all the existing ballots are counted.
