Let me ask you guys something. I'm white. Suppose I were to copy that poster ("The Negro Community...", blow it up into a large banner, and hang it on my office wall.

Then, when people came into my office and didn't know what to make of it, I could say, "Oh, one of my best friends sent that to me. He's black."

Here's an honest question. Who would have the hardest time with that? White people, or black people?

My guess is, I would become instant friends with any black person who saw it. And white people would regard me as untouchable.

A team of lawyers for Whites had concluded that Colin Powell broke race-trade contract terms when he endorsed Obama; the lawyers for the Blacks (pictured above) have just been informed that Powell is to be immediately returned and Barack Obama taken as compensation. I'd like to think it's the reaction to hearing that the Yes on 8 folks put out yet another lie, this time a flyer that claims Obama supports Prop 8, which he has flat-out said he doesn't.

That said, Ike, thank you! I first saw this on LJ a good two years ago, and no one seemed to know where it was from. You've cleared up a huge mystery in this house.
