Including Dem Rep Congo, it was like ten countries and 3.8 mil casualties; most since WWII.  How cheerful! An almost unfathomable rollercoaster to achieve the pinnacle of his profession and lose his last living caretaker 24 HOURS BEFORE the election.  'Bittersweet' doesn't really describe it adequately.
